The Dallas Police Department is offering a Volunteers in Patrol class for anyone interested in keeping the Katy Trail safer. The free class will be Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at 3535 Travis, suite #100. The class includes a tour of the city’s 911 call center, and a guest speaker who will discuss crime prevention on the Katy Trail.
