This is shaping up to be a good month for neighborhood foodies. We’ve got a flurry of new restaurants in the works:

First up, that new Bliss Raw Café at Plaza at Preston Center is finally opening this week. The soft opening is Wednesday, March 17, at 11 a.m. You can expect some new dishes not offered at the original location, but the won’t stray from their raw foodist roots.

If you’re not much for vegetarian dining, keep an eye out for Eddie V’s Prime Seafood. Larry Foles and Guy Villaviso of Eddie V’s Restaurants Inc. are opening it at the southwest corner of the Equinox Fitness Club Complex in mid-April. Like the other locations in Austin, San Antonio and Fort Worth, this spot will be all about fresh fish.

And alas, something for the red-meat lovers: Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is also slated to open April 20. This 10,000-square-foot space will have five private dining rooms, a loft, and a wine cellar with more than 5,000 bottles and personal wine lockers. In addition to prime steaks, Perry’s is also known for its pork chops, which are dried, cured and roasted, and then caramelized and topped with a signature herb-garlic butter sauce. There will also be live entertainment for happy hour Monday through Friday.
