The WT White mariachi band is teaming up with several other DISD students for a Cinco de Mayo celebration at the House of Blues. Wednesday afternoon from 5 to 7 some of DISD’s best mariachi bands and ballet folklorico dancers will perform inside the White Swan building. Tickets to the performance are $20, and include a buffet-style Mexican dinner. Proceeds benefit the International House of Blues Foundation (IHOBF), which supports DISD mariachi and ballet folklorico programs.
