Hillcrest senior Amanada Gross has been awarded Sulentic Family Foundation Scholarship, which is awarded to DISD students based on academic performance and financial need. She and ten other DISD seniors, all of whom were selected by a committee of faculty and administrators, will each receive $20,000 for college. The Sulentic family, which has two DISD graduate children, established the $1 million scholarship fund in 2007.
