11 Preston Hollow schools rated ‘exemplary’

Based on preliminary TAKS results, DISD saw a record increase in scores this year, particularly in math and science. Out of the 62 schools rated “exemplary,” 11 of them are in Preston Hollow. They are:

Ewell D. Walker Middle School; and George Bannerman Dealey, Tom W. Field,  Tom C. Gooch, Kramer, John J. Pershing, Preston Hollow, Walnut Hill, Harry Withers and Nathan Adams, all elementary schools.

W.T. White received a “recognized” rating. Hillcrest was “acceptable.”
