W.T. White 2006 alumnus Bryan Holaday, 22, has been drafted to the Detroit Tigers. The TCU catcher made headlines this year after leading the Horned Frogs to the College World Series.
Holaday, winner of this year’s Johnny Bench award for the best college catcher, played 68 games for TCU this season, batting .355 with 17 home runs and 53 RBIs.
