Here are a few ideas to help get you in the Super Bowl spirit:

The Meadows Museum at Southern Methodist University opens a new exhibit Jan. 30, just in time for the big game. “Grit and Glory: Six-Man Football” showcases photography by Laura Wilson, telling the story of a Texas tradition – the six-man football team. She spent 11 years photographing these men in towns across the region. Admission is free, and the exhibit runs through April 24.

Check out “Slant 45: The Movie”, which screens during several dates at Studio Movie Grill on Royal. It chronicles the largest community service initiative of its kind with up to 44,000 North Texas children making a difference in their neighborhoods. Check here for reservations. You can also watch the big game live on the big screen for $15.

Staying in the watch the game? Blue Mesa Grill offers a special Super Bowl Party menu, including a seven-layer dip, taquitos and tacos for $14 per person. TJ’s Seafood Market also has some party platters if you’re expecting a crowd.
