Adrift Float Spa opens today at the southwest corner of Preston and Northwest Highway with a grand opening celebration 5-8 p.m. Feb. 17. Here’s how the process works. You simply float in a dense saline solution inside a private “floating cabin”, reaching a complete state of physical and mental relaxation. The water temperature remains at a steady 93.5 degrees, which is the normal temperature of the body’s skin. The long-term benefits include better quality of sleep, pain relief, increased immunity, improved circulation, decreased stress levels and mental clarity and alertness.
The cabins can accommodate individuals or couples. A single session costs $89 – $139 for couples. You also can buy a membership or package deal.
