Preston Royal Village hosts a sidewalk sale in conjunction with tax-free weekend 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
Parade of Playhouses at NorthPark Center concludes this weekend with a raffle drawing at 4 p.m. Sunday to decide who get to take home the custom-built playhouses. Proceeds from the annual event benefited Dallas CASA. There’s still time to buy raffle tickets at the mall or online. They’re $5 each or five for $20.
Temple Emanu-El hosts its sixth annual Burgers and Beer event starting at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in Pollman Hall. The kosher dinner will be catered by The Hamburger Man. The Young Adults group will be collecting items and donations for the Vickery Meadow Food Pantry. Goga will provide the entertainment. Admission is $5 and free for first-timers.
