New Gallery at Lovers and the Dallas North Tollway will host a preview exhibition of work by painter David Leffel and other accomplished artists. A reception is 6-9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, and art sales benefit the new Perot Museum of Nature and Science under construction.

Leffel has shown his work all over the country and also teaches and leads workshops on contemporary realism. Other artists featured in the exhibit are Lindy Schillaci, Jacqueline Kamin, Gregg Kreutz, Donna Schneider, Carlos Grasso and Joseph Iantorno.
The exhibit runs through December 2.
