Here are a few ways to ring in the New Year:

Rock out over night. For children in grades 1-6, the Jewish Community Center hosts Abbii’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve All-Nighter, beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday. It includes swimming, dancing, movies, snacks, Havdallah and breakfast. Register now to reserve a spot. It’s $100 for J members, $125 for non-members.

See the trains. It’s your last chance to see the Trains at NorthPark before next holiday season. The popular exhibit closes Jan. 1. The hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for children. Proceeds benefit the Ronald McDonald House.

Listen to folk. Uncle Calvin’s Coffee House still hosts its weekly show this Friday night, featuring Eric Taylor who has written songs for Lyle Lovett and Nanci Griffith to name a few. Tickets are $15-$18.
