Raising money for the Mavs Foundation, the ninth annual Mavs Ball took place last Friday, March 22. The entire team roster of players were in attendance, along with head coach Jason Kidd and minority owner Mark Cuban.

The Mavs Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that seeks to provide for children in foster care, victims of domestic abuse and families struggling with homelessness or hunger. Since its founding in 1996, the Mavs Foundation is responsible for building 56 safe Learn & Play spaces throughout the North Texas community, including 31 basketball courts and 24 Reading & Learning Centers.

On Friday, money was raised through an auction featuring several highly exclusive experiences, including a five-day trip to Slovenia, which sold to Kyrie Irving and Cuban for $77,000, and GM or head coach for a day experiences.

The 2024 Mavs Ball raised $1.8 million for the Mavs Foundation. They accept donations year-round at their official website.Â
