Neighborhood students Alex and Helena Magee built a replica of the city’s newest landmark, the Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge, and they built it out of LEGOS. It’s part of the Dallas CityScape exhibit that features miniature versions of Dallas’ most well-known structures, complete with mini people and cars. It opens July 1 at the Galleria.

Helena, 10, attends St. Alcuin Montessori School, and Alex, 15, goes to Jesuit Preparatory School. They also make stop-motion animated movies with LEGOS. To create the bridge, they studied photographs from several different angles and watched a documentary on how it was made.

The exhibit is on view through Sept. 3 on Level 1 near Grand Luxe Cafe. Admission is $5 for adults and children ages 2 and older.
