Tickets are on sale for Uncle Calvin’s Coffeehouse’s celebration of 30 years of great acoustic music. The November anniversary shows will feature some of Calvin’s favorite touring and local artists. The first 30 tickets for each show get “early entry privileges.”

You can buy tickets for individual shows or, if you want to see all four, Calvin’s is offering a package deal with tickets to each show, an anniversary T-shirt and a “compilation CD.”

The listening room, named after Protestant reformer John Calvin, started as a smoke- and booze-free space where people could catch some original and favorite tunes in folk, bluegrass, world and more. Previous performers have included David Wilcox, Janis Ian and the Dixie Chicks.

The not-for-profit, volunteer-run coffeehouse operates out of Northpark Presbyterian Church every Friday night. Prices for the anniversary shows run from $10-$30.
