If approved, additional security cameras will be added to high schools, along with electronic door buzzers, eight camera digital recorder systems, card-reader system at all elementary schools and one-way observation portals in every school portable.

The $4.5 million would come from 2008 bond funds, and if approved some proposals will begin immediately while upgrades will start at the 2013-2014 academic year.
