It’s pretty well known that most, if not all, of the richest people in Dallas live in Preston Hollow, which is represented by District 13.
The Dallas Morning News reported that two District 13 City Council candidates have raised the most campaign money, beating out 14 other council districts in Dallas.
Jennifer Staubach Gates is ahead in cash flow with $322,664 raised thus far, according to a campaign finance report that was filed April 11. Gates also has $213,883 cash on hand, the DMN reports. Leland Burk is in second place with $115, 371 raised, and $6, 357 cash on hand.
