Beyond Pilates on Preston and Forest will donate proceeds from three classes at 8:30 a.m., 9:30 a.m., and 10:30 a.m. on Saturday morning to help dogs and cats find new homes. Knock out two birds with one stone by getting a great pilates workout while donating to Paws in the City, a local animal shelter that aims to find homes for dogs or cats that are in danger of being euthanized. Classes cost $20 each.
Find some vision for your fall garden and join fellow green thumbs for the Dallas County Master Gardeners Fall Garden Tour Saturday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Six homes, including one Preston Hollow home boasting a lovely perennial garden will be featured on the tour, along with a stop at Robert E. Lee Elementary School’s children’s garden. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 the day of tour. Ticket proceeds to benefit Temple Emanu-El Community Garden and other Dallas County Master Gardener projects.
