Eclectic Galleries in Snider Plaza opened a new show this week, featuring Preston Hollow resident Hinke Schroen of the Dallas Handweavers & Spinners Guild.
“Spin it. Weave it. Wear it: A Focus on Fiber” runs through Nov. 30, showcasing the journey of raw organic fiber and how it’s transformed into fashion and home decor (Hint: It’s a long process).
For a more hands-on experience, Schroen and other members of the Guild will conduct demonstrations noon-4 p.m. Nov. 16 and 23, and noon-5 p.m. Nov. 24 at the gallery.
