Locally-based real estate firm Fults Commercial “has won the leasing assignment for Merit Tower, which was recently renamed from Four Forest Plaza in North Dallas,” reports the Dallas Business Journal. The tower, located near Medical City on Merit, is in the process of completing $11 million worth of renovations in its lobby and common area. Dallas Business Journal reports that Adler Realty Investments purchased the building last year, and “at the time of the sale, the tower was 50 percent leased.”

Vanity Fair recently published a piece titled, “How George W. Bush Evolved From the Uncoolest Person on the Planet to Bona Fide Hipster Icon.” According to author Juli Weiner,  the former President and current Preston Hollow resident’s “love of animals, biking hobby, Internet savvy,” along with his painting hobby and sending this letter to lift the spirits of an Alabama kicker, make Mr. Bush “a hipster icon.”
