Looking for something to add to your weekend to-do list? Local photographer Leonard Volk will be at the Omni Hotel gift shop 6-8 p.m. Friday. The Turtle Creek resident and retired architect came out with a book of photographs and essays a few years ago titled, “Everyday,” compiling 60 years of his work.
Volk received his architecture degree from MIT and served in U.S. Army Counter Intelligence Corps in the 1950s. He developed his love for photography while on a trip around Europe.
