Hanukkah ended Dec. 14 and Christmas will soon be over, but don’t be bummed — there’s still plenty to celebrate. Kwanzaa, “a seven-day holiday that pays tribute to the cultural roots of Americans of African ancestry”*, begins Dec. 26.

Want to learn more about the holiday? Visit Bookmarks at NorthPark Center on Dec. 30. Beginning at 10:30 a.m. Melody “Afi” Bell will educate you through a series of stories and songs. There’ll be African drumming, too. Click here to learn more.
