Keep an eye out, Northaven Park area, two vehicle-related crimes were reported overnight on Tuesday, Aug. 2, within a block of each other.

First, around 11:25 p.m. it was reported that an unknown suspect entered a vehicle parked at 11240 Rosser, riffled through it and made off with unspecified valuables.

One block east, sometime between 10:30 p.m. and 7 a.m., someone removed three tires and rims, along with four hubcaps, from a vehicle parked at 11217 Candlelight. It is unclear if the car only had three tires and rims to begin with.

Police have not yet returned a request for information on whether they think the two incidents are related. They have previously warned residents not to keep any valuables in the car over night.
