Art at the Meadow’s

See the Meadows’s recent acquisition of Goya’s ink drawing, Visions, from his “Witches and Old Women Album.” This important acquisition is the first drawing by Goya to enter the museum’s collection.

Support Preston Hollow Elementary School

Preston Hollow Women’s Club supports Preston Hollow Elementary School through fundraisers and by providing supplies. Special interest groups include book clubs, wine tastings, biking, golf, gardening, bridge, bunco and more.

Check out a presidential library

As part of the Blue Star Museums program, Texas’ three presidential libraries, including the George W. Bush Presidential Library in Dallas, offer free admission to active duty U.S. military personnel, including National Guard and Reserve, and their families through Labor Day, Sept. 2. Visitors to the George W. Bush Presidential Library can view the new exhibit “Away from the White House: Presidential Retreats” showcasing presidential retreats as a mixture of traveling White House, diplomacy, and attempts at relaxation. Other museum highlights include “A Nation Under Attack” recalling the events of Sept. 11, 2001; an Oval Office replica; and provocative, hands-on Decision Points Theater.
