What: Celebrate Lunar New Year with The Crow Museum of Asian Art of The University of Texas at Dallas by exploring the work of Zhang Xiaogang, a Chinese surrealist artist known for his interpretations of Chinese culture and identity. Children can create art projects with Artist DIY, Creative Arts Center of Dallas, KidArt and Sour Grapes.

Northaven Trail extension community meeting

What: Join District 11 Councilman Lee Kleinman, Park Board representative and Friends of Northaven Trail president Jeff Kitner, and Parks and Recreation staff to provide input on the extension of Northaven Trail (from Valleydale east to 75) to the planned pedestrian bridge over US Highway 75.

What: Watch this 30-minute film highlighting acts of voter suppression that took place in the 2018 Georgia governor’s race. The viewing will be followed by a short presentation and discussion. Panera box lunches will be available for purchase for $10.00 per person with your registration.
