Arnold Vincent Pacetti is passionate about helping people and fashion, which makes him perfect as a 2020 ambassador for the Fashion Stars for a Cause event in March 27. Each year, 12 women and men serve as fundraising ambassadors. These ambassadors, or Fashion Stars, promote table sales and raffle tickets for the annual Fashion Stars for a Cause event, which is “a celebration of fashion and compassion.” More than $2.6 million has been raised for the Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas since the event started 13 years ago

Arnold, an engineer, moved to Dallas from Chile five years ago. He married jeweler Joe Pacetti last year and is now learning the jewelry business. The Fashion Stars for a Cause mission resonated with him because one of his best friends died by suicide and a family member attempted suicide five times. “I’d like to try to help resolve these problems,” he says. “It’s a mental condition. I saw Joe helping people and involved in charities. It’s impressive. I’m so glad that I can be part of his team and help make things happen.”

The couple lives on Bandera, where they frequently entertain clients. When he’s not working, Arnold drives his Tesla, shops at Northpark Center or reads. He calls his style eclectic. “I like to mix everything from everywhere,” he says. “One day I can look like a prince from India. The next day, I could look like a cowboy. I’m wearing a lot jewelry. Fashion is about being you. When you wear it with personality, people love it.”
