Preston Hollow Presbyterian Church is supporting neighbors in need through its new initiative ‘Loaves & Fishes.’ The campaign will fundraise for ministry partners offering care and connection to residents and neighbors affected by COVID-19.

For the month of August, the church will raise money for Cornerstone Baptist Church, the Joy Empowerment Center of Abundant Life AME Church and Literacy Achieves. Two donors have agreed to match gifts up to $100,000.

“As the needs of so many continue to increase, we are called to increase our generosity and compassion together,” the church announced on its  website. “In the same way, Jesus felt the multitude with the simple offerings of five loaves and two fish (Matthew 14:16-21), we believe God will multiply our gifts so that thousands of our neighbors can be fed, housed and experience God’s abundant love.”

People wishing to donate can do so online here or designate the memo line on a check to ‘PHPC Loaves & Fishes campaign’ and mail them directly to the church office.
