In case you missed it, Jesuit Dallas Museum earned one of the highest recognitions for a museum in August.

Out of 1,000 accredited museums, Jesuit Dallas Museum became the first of its kind to gain the American Alliance of Museums (AAM) accreditation. This museum, located on the grounds of Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas, boasts over 700 works of art and features international artists collections.

“We are very pleased to be accredited by the AAM,” said President of the Jesuit Dallas Museum Board of Trustees Fred Jackson. “The unique partnership between the Jesuit Dallas Museum and the School is leading the country in best practices and reinforcing the importance of an appreciation of art in our young people.”

Three other American museums also received accreditation for the first time from AAM, which included Geneva History Museum, Museum of Osteopathic Medicine and William Benton Museum of Art.
