Neighborhood nonprofit Dallas Pets Alive! is partnering with Community Beer Company to match Community lovers with homeless pets.

Community patrons will soon see a 40-foot shipping container adjacent to the property with an outdoor bar, a customized rooftop, a retail store for DPA! merchandise and match-making technology for Community patrons and foster pets.

“We can’t expect to help North Texas shelters at the pace they need if we don’t make a big change. Rethinking the normal “adoption center” is vital to the success of our organization and, most important, to the lives of animals,” says Leslie Sans, DPA founder and executive director.

Community Brewing Co.’s motto is “Beer for the Greater Good,” exemplified by their programs like Community Cycling or other The Greater Good projects.

“We are beyond grateful to Community Beer Company and Cuddly for their partnership on this most important project for homeless  pets here in North Texas,” says Sans.

The shipping container was “dropped” into place at 9:30 this morning. While an opening date has not be released, Community patrons can expect the matchmaking to begin soon.
