The Galleria will feature small businesses and support a local nonprofit this Friday and Saturday during the biannual Alley Market.

Over 15 local vendors will sell their wares. There will be a wide spread of products to choose from including jewelry and other accessories, skincare products, toys for children and even outfits for dogs.

One of the vendors will be Bonton Farms, a nonprofit urban farm. In addition to selling seasonal produce at the Alley Market, Bonton Farms will receive 10 percent of all profits made during the event. The nonprofit not only provides Bonton residents with fresh, nutritious food, but it also provides cooking classes and nutritional counseling so residents can make the most out of what they buy.

Each Alley Market features a different beneficiary. For example, last spring, the Galleria featured a lineup of women-owned businesses and donated part of the profits to the Genesis Women’s Shelter.

The market will begin at 11 a.m. and end at 4 p.m. each day. The market is held near Blue Fish on the east side of the mall. For a full list of which vendors will attend the event, click here. For information about other events at the mall this month, click here.
