Dreamscape at AMC inside NorthPark Center has closed down its virtual reality experience after three years.

Dallas was the second location for Dreamscape Operations, which first opened in California. The announcement of the closing was made earlier this week simply stating “Dreamscape at AMC NorthPark Center has closed, but keep an eye out for future Dreamscape locations near you.”

The 15-minute virtual reality experience featured various storylines players could choose from, including Alien Zoo, Curse of The Last Pearl and Dreamworks Dragons. It was located exclusively within or next to AMC movie theaters, and D Magazine described it as a “bit like a movie theater crossed with a theme park,” when it first opened in 2019.

All other open Dreamscape locations are outside of our state, both nationally and internationally, in Los Angeles, Columbus, Paramus, Dubai, Riyadh and Geneva.
