The Saturday bone marrow drive for Campbell Fearing, the son of restauranteurs Lynae and Dean Fearing, drew plenty of neighborhood support.
In a video posted on Fearing’s instagram page today, Campbell thanked everyone who came out to see if they were a match and explained what it meant to not only him but others in need of a donor.
“You’re not receiving a thank you from just me, but you’re receiving thanks from everyone who you might be a match for in the future.”
Campbell didn’t confirm whether a match was found, but he did share a personal experience regarding his thoughts on death when he was first diagnosed with leukemia.
