Comerica Bank donated over 600 dresses during its annual North Texas Prom Dress Drive

Six Comerica banking centers in the Dallas area collected 625 new or gently used, formal dresses as well as accessories from the community last month for teens served by Dallas CASA and the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas.

Both nonprofits held prom shopping events last month for deserving local teens who otherwise may not be able to afford formal attire. Members of the Comerica Bank North Texas Women’s Forum and Green Team employee resource groups assisted with set up for each nonprofit’s prom boutiques as well as the Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Dallas’ Prom Dress Extravaganza.

Overall, Comerica’s annual North Texas Prom Dress Drive has donated 6,210 dresses to both organizations and other community partners over the last eight years.

Comerica Bank will distribute the remaining dresses to other nonprofits and teens, so they too will be able to experience prom.
