The Dallas housing market is on fire when it comes to home buyers across the country looking for a move. Preston Hollow is one of the neighborhoods that’s most searched on Zillow.
In a recent analysis conducted by indoor air quality company HouseFresh, neighborhoods across the United States were studied based on their Zillow data and searches. Northeast Dallas (including Old East Dallas, Lakewood, White Rock Lake and Lake Highlands) took the top spot. Preston Hollow came in at 12th on the list.
Zillow counted 10.2 million views to its site in 2021. There were also more people looking at houses than buying, according to HouseFresh.
The study looked at the 100 most populous cities, days spent on the Zillow market and page views per day. Preston Hollow raked in 18,859 views per day.
The Dallas area is also considered to be a more affordable housing market compared to other areas. In Northeast Dallas, average home value is $484,340; in Preston Hollow, that value is $616,549.
Far North Dallas was the one other Dallas neighborhood included on the list, at 15, with 17,020 page views.
