To celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the George W. Bush Presidential Center, all visitors can enjoy free admission to the George W. Bush Presidential Museum courtesy of Sewell Automotive Companies.

The museum is to hold regular operating hours during the week of free admission, with special extended hours until 8 p.m. on May 4. Regular admission is Monday — Saturday from 9 a.m.- 5 p.m. and Sundays from 12 p.m.- 5 p.m.

The Bush Museum has welcomed over 1.9 million visitors worldwide since its opening in 2013. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore the permanent exhibits which include a moving display on 9/11, a replica of the Oval Office and an interactive experience in presidential decision-making.  

Also on display is the special exhibit, Freedom Matters. The Freedom Matters exhibit features historical documents and artifacts that were used to inform citizens during that time before mass media. The exhibit will include rare versions of the Declaration of Independence, the Consitution of the United States, and the Emancipation Proclamation, as well as books by various philosophers including John Locke and Jean- Jacques Rousseau and a 14- century copy of the Magna Carta.  This exhibit opens to the public on May 1.
