Central Market has announced the revival of its eagerly anticipated Passport food event, showcasing the vibrant culture of Portugal.

Following a five-year hiatus due to the pandemic, Central Market’s renowned culinary journey will shine a spotlight on the essence of Portugal. The leadership for Passport Portugal will be led by James Beard award-winning chef David Leite and Central Market’s executive team.

This two-week culinary event will immerse foodies in Portugal’s cultural influences, featuring delights such as custard-filled Pastéis de Nata, zesty Piri-Piri, Bacalhau à Brá, an extensive selection of seafood, as well as sips of vinho and more.  Take a stroll with what they have to offer, Saturday, Sept 16, 2 – 6 p.m. at all Central Market locations.

Passport Portugal at Central Market located on Lover’s Lane will run from Sept. 13 to Sept. 26., 2:00 – 6:00 p.m. and will encompass an array of Portuguese classes offered to attendees. Tickets for each class are available on their website.
