While we might be months away from the holiday season, Galleria Dallas is already preparing to make the holidays memorable for shoppers. This includes the grand unveiling of the nation’s tallest indoor Christmas tree and other seasonal attractions from Nov. 17 – Jan. 7.

For over forty years, Galleria Dallas has been offering shoppers an unforgettable holiday experience. The festive activities will commence on Black Friday, November 24, at noon, with the Grand Tree Lighting Celebration presented by the Galleria Dallas Ice Skating School. This event will feature performances by Olympic skaters and the skating school, with proceeds benefiting local charities. To finish off the introductory event, there will be a firework finale from Missile Toes, Galleria’s famed ice-skating Santa who shoots fireworks from his boots. Another lighting celebration is scheduled for Saturday, November 25, at noon.

Shoppers can catch a glimpse of the tree’s installation process, which starts on November 5 and is anticipated to be completed by November 9. The tree will feature 850 new branches, adorned with around 15,000 ornaments, and crowned by a stunning 100-pound, 10-foot-tall LED star.

Santa is a crucial part of the holiday experience, and he will arrive at Galleria Dallas on Friday, November 17, at Santaland on Level 1 near Banana Republic. Guests can enjoy a magical train ride from Dallas to the North Pole, where Santa will greet children. Reservations are recommended and can be made starting October 1. Special Santa events include Santa Paws, Santa Cares, and Spanish-speaking Santa.

The return of the acclaimed immersive exhibit, SNOWDAY, is also back. Guests will explore the hidden town inhabited by Santa’s elves. Spanning across 10,000 square feet, the exhibit features Hollywood-grade sets that transport visitors to a snowflake village. New additions this year include a gingerbread room and a space shuttle, alongside beloved fan-favorite rooms.

Each weekend, the Holiday Circus brings a complimentary holiday-themed puppet show. During the week, more than 70 local groups will perform holiday favorites throughout the center and a full schedule with more information is available on their website, available on Oct. 1.
