The CEO of Mary Kay Cosmetics will receive the Texas Trailblazer Award from The Family Place during an awards luncheon in October.
Ryan Rogers, who has been CEO of the cosmetics company founded by late Preston Hollow resident Mary Kay Ash since January, joined the company in 2000. Rogers is also the grandson of the Mary Kay founder.
The Family Place, which helps survivors of domestic violence and provides resources to them, chose the CEO for Mary Kay Foundation’s contribution to women’s shelters, domestic violence providers and cancer research programs. Rogers will also be recognized for his accomplishments.
Award recipients for the Legislative Impact Award are Dallas Police Chief Eddie Garcia and Texas representative Victoria Neave Criado. The awards ceremony will also host actress Brooke Shields as keynote speaker.
