The 49th annual Crystal Charity Ball fashion show and luncheon will honor the 10 best-dressed women of Dallas society on Sept. 8.

This year’s honorees are Marybeth Conlon, Monica Eastin, Kim Hext, Libby Hegi, Meredith Land, Ann McPherson, Wendy Messmann, Kim Quinn, Lisa Rocchio and Sunie Solmon.

Proceeds will be donated to seven local children’s charities including After-School All-Stars, Buckner Children and Family Services, Fair Park First, Family Gateway, Metrocare Services, The Salvation Army of North Texas and the YMCA of North Dallas.

Although Sept. 8 is also an important date for New York Fashion Week, the designer is expected to launch his Spring/Summer 2024 at the Dallas event. The event will take place on Friday, Sept. 8 at Neiman Marcus Downtown.

This year will be the 72nd year for the Crystal Charity Ball Committee helping children’s charities in the Dallas area. Each year, the nonprofit organization will choose beneficiaries to support children’s charities in Dallas County. At the end of the year, The Crystal Charity Ball Committee honors philanthropic donors through an elegant gala. The organization has helped distribute over $185 million to 156 beneficiaries since 1952.

According to the charity’s calendar, the application for this year began this week with 2024 CCB chair Cheryl Joyner and charity selection chair Kim Quinn. For the full schedule for the application process and schedule of events, visit the website. The 2024 beneficiaries will be announced in February 2024.

The annual gala will be held on Sunday, December 9, at the Hilton Anatole.
