The beloved Rings Donuts, located near Preston Center, recently underwent new ownership at the beginning of the month. While the name will stay the same, there are some delicious twists in store.
Donuts have always held a special place in the heart of Las Vegas-based and donut enthusiast Tanya Solares, who has taken over ownership of the establishment. With her father’s extensive experience in crafting traditional donuts, it seemed only natural for her to open her own shop, Poppy’s, back in Nevada. Now, at Rings Donuts, she plans to use her father’s 30-year-old classic recipe while introducing some delectable twists such as the magical marshmallow, maple biscoff and Mexican hot chocolate.

“This shop popped up online a few months ago and I absolutely fell in love with it,” Solares said. “It was the only shop that I could see potential in and I fell in love with the area and the people in the area. They’ve all been very nice and supportive.”
Rings Donuts originally opened its doors in July 2022 under the ownership of Bill Hennessey. The soft launch for the revamped establishment was on September 1st. Solaris has a deep appreciation for the shop’s name and envisions expanding with additional locations in the future.
“It’s a great area to great cute little shop with a lot of potential,” Solares said. “The old owner did an amazing job with with his design concept and what he had planned with the shop and I’m hoping that I can make them proud.”
