Interabang Books is set to present bestselling authors Ann Patchett and Elizabeth McCracken at Saint Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church on Friday, Nov. 10 to promote their new books.
Both authors will join together to talk about the new releases, Patchett’s Tom Lake and McCracken’s The Hero of This Book.
Patchett is a celebrated author of a variety of novels including nonfiction, fiction and children’s books. Patchett made an appearance at Interabang Books opening in 2017 as she has a passion for independent bookstores. She has received numerous awards such as the Women’s Prize in the U.K, PEN/Faulkner and the Pulitzer Prize for her novel The Dutch House.
McCracken is also a celebrated author with seven books under her belt and currently holds the James Michener Chair for Fiction at the University of Texas at Austin.
Interabang Books is the official bookseller to host the joint event between the two authors. Tickets are available on their website and entry guarantees one signed book of Patchett’s Tom Lake. McCracken’s book will also be available at the store to be signed. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and the discussion will begin at 6:00 p.m.
