A 7-year-old girl was killed after being hit multiple times by cars in the 7600 block of Lyndon B. Johnson Service Road on Oct. 16, according to Dallas Police.

The preliminary investigation determined the driver was in a white car and was traveling eastbound on the service road when they hit the girl, who was lying in the roadway. Further investigation found that the child had been hit by a previous vehicle. The driver of the white car remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.

According to the police, the victim was walking in the roadway when she was hit by an unknown suspect vehicle. The driver left the scene without stopping to help. It’s believed that the car is a 2007-2014 Cadillac Escalade or a similar vehicle and it should have damage on the front right with a missing right headlight. The exact color is unknown.

Due to the age of the victim, the name will not be released.

The investigation remains ongoing. Detectives are working to identify the driver and vehicle responsible for the initial hit and left the scene. Dallas police shared a photo of the suspect vehicle.
