Holiday shoppers can take a break this season at the neighborhood jewelry store Ylang 23 for a free event supporting Jubilee Park and Community Center.

Families can pose for a free portrait with Santa Claus by a professional photographer and also receive a cup of cappuccino and gourmet holiday cookies. The in-store festive event will be on Saturday, Dec. 2, from 10 a.m. to noon at their Preston Center location.

“What this fun Saturday morning, filled with Santa, cookies, and cappuccino really symbolizes to me is a moment to slow down and place value on what matters this holiday season,” said Alysa Teichman, VP Business Development and owner of Ylang 23. “Running a multi-generational family business in Dallas, we are all about creating family moments and memories, especially around this time of year.”

Another new addition is Ylang 23 will announce its new initiative, Mommy Letters to Santa, where families will work directly with personal shoppers at the store to ensure each letter gets extra love and attention this year.

The jewelry store is collecting toys, gifts, and items for the food pantry to distribute to families impacted by the nonprofit.

Ylang 23 did a similar holiday event for Easter earlier this year. For more information about the event, visit their website.
