Dallas police are investigating two recent burglaries that were similar both happened near Royal Lane last month.
In both cases, one male suspect posed as a salesperson to distract the victim while another suspect would steal property. The two locations of the burglaries were about six miles apart.
The first incident occurred on December 13, 2023, around 5:15 p.m. near the 4500 block of Northhave Road. During the preliminary investigation, police determined the victim was speaking to one male suspect posing as a business owner when another male suspect entered the home and took property without consent. The second burglary took place on December 30, 2023, around 10:30 p.m. near the 9200 block of Westpark Drive.
