A woman was shot at a car rental business near Dallas Love Field on Friday morning, Dallas Police reported.
Officers responded to a shooting call around 9:15 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 19 in the 6800 block of Ansley Avenue at a business near the airport. During the preliminary investigation, police determined the woman was shot in the back, and the suspect, identified as 42-year-old Latorya Gray, was taken into custody.
The shooting was a result of an argument between two coworkers, according to NBC DFW and police.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and is in critical condition. Gray has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. She is being held in the Dallas County Jail with a bond set at $75,000.
According to Dallas police, the suspect and victim were known to each other.
The incident did not affect flights at Love Field Airport.
