American Girl is officially moving from Galleria Dallas, where it’s been since 2007, to Shops at Park Lane with a celebratory ribbon cutting set for March.

The move follows American Girl’s announcement last year, after over a decade at Galleria Dallas. The new store will debut at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday, Mar. 2 with a revamped design that pays homage to the brand’s heritage while introducing fresh experiences for guests.

The first guests at the Shops at Park Lane location’s grand opening weekend will enjoy the new store’s features and giveaways.

“We’re excited to welcome Dallas fans to our newly reimagined store,” said Jamie Cygielman, American Girl’s global SVP and general manager. “From dining in the charming café to enjoying the Dolled Up Salon, American Girl Dallas promises unforgettable moments for families.”

Spanning 14,720 square feet across two stories, the new location will offer a full range of American Girl dolls, accessories, books and more. Interior highlights include a floor-to-ceiling dollhouse and an enhanced café.

A major highlight of the new store is the Dolled Up Salon, a Dallas first, offering girls the chance to match their doll’s style and enjoy salon treatments like manicures, hairstyles, and ear-piercing.

The American Girl Café will continue to offer brunch and Teatime traditions, along with a new Berry Bar for sweet treats.

“American Girl is an iconic, experiential retailer that spans generations,” said Ward Kampf, president of Northwood Retail, the company that owns Shops at Park Lane. “The brand has been enjoyed by children, parents, grandparents, and beyond. We couldn’t be more excited to have the new American Girl store join our expanding tenant lineup at The Shops at Park Lane.”

The Galleria Dallas location will remain open until it officially transitions over.

The new American Girl location at Shops at Park Lane will be situated between Nordstrom Rack and HomeGoods at 8052 Park Ln.
