Republican presidential candidate Ryan Binkley, a Preston Hollow resident, is listed in the race on the GOP primary ballot, alongside former President Donald Trump and former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley.

The Dallas-based businessman and pastor launched his 2024 presidential bid in April 2023.

During a recent Nevada caucus, only Binkley and Trump appeared on the ballot after Haley withdrew her name from the caucus ballot. Binkley’s name is featured on primary ballots in 34 states.

Throughout his campaign, he has outlasted senators, governors and former Vice President Mike Pence.

“Two years ago, I felt a call to prepare,” Binkley said in a press release. “My decision to get involved is supported by my family, my faith, and my heart.”

His platform emphasizes immigration reform, national budget management, education, and healthcare. Binkley has engaged with college campuses, including a visit to the University of Texas at Dallas last April. This campaign marks his inaugural campaign for political office.

“I believe we are at a pivotal moment in our nation’s great history,” Binkley said. “Our debt is out of control, our people are divided, and we’ve lost our way. It’s clear we need a change, and we need solutions that unite our country.”

Currently in South Carolina ahead of the Republican primary on Feb. 24, Binkley recently participated in a town hall event in Charleston.
