Dallas’ Korean BBQ, JOA, has revamped its menu with additions including appetizers, hot pot selections, à la carte meats and plated entrees.

Michelin-starred chefs Minji Kim and Ben Lee said the reason behind the menu update is to offer guests with an authentic taste of Korea while featuring a wider array of choices.

The shareable menu includes items such as bulgogi beef and eel rolls, flash-fried octopus with chili, yuzu and chimichurri sauce, blistered shishito peppers, creamy mussels and raw Canadian oysters with yuzu vinaigrette and red pepper paste.

The highlight of the menu change though are the two hot pot packages: the Taste of JOA and the Taste of Texan. The Taste of JOA serves two with prime short rib, Black Angus hanger steak, marinated bone-in short rib, ribeye and shrimp. The Taste of Texan, serving four, includes filet mignon, New York strip, marinated ribeye, prime short rib and ribeye. Both packages are accompanied by kimchi salad, bean paste soup, white rice and ice cream for dessert.

JOA is located in Koreatown near Royal Lane and Harry Hines Boulevard.

Reservations to enjoy the new menu can be made on their website.
