Celebree School, a private preschool franchise, will hold the grand opening of its first Texas location next month.

The preschool, which opened officially on Feb. 26, will celebrate its grand opening on April 6 from 9:00 a.m. to noon. Enrollment is open for ages six weeks to 5-years-old. Those interested can contact the school for tours and more information. Situated in the Dallas Arts District, the new school will be the first of three locations opening in the area.

“We wanted to expand into Dallas because of the growth here,” the Dallas location’s owner and operator, Mindi McClure, said. “This will be the first location in Dallas. My husband and I moved here from the East Coast where we knew Celebree was a fantastic learning experience for children and we wanted to bring the brand with us when we came.”

The grand opening will include family activities such as food trucks, entertainers, face painting, and a petting zoo.

“This will be an opportunity for families to come and see us and understand Celebree,” Mindi said. “We do have a fantastic curriculum for every age group and our goal is social and emotional learning and readiness. This could be a place for families to bring kids to learn and be happy while also getting ready to make that next step to becoming a lifelong learner.”

Since 1994, Celebree has opened 44 schools in 14 states with over 4,570 in enrollment. In 2019, it launched its franchise offering to have a wider expansion. The North Texas owners, Minid and Jeff McClure, both have backgrounds in financial services and real estate. Their shared commitment to understanding the value of quality education and care for young families is what led them to establish the Celebree School of Dallas Arts District.

“We’re honored to continue to help brilliant entrepreneurs like Mindi and Jeff McClure actualize their business goals and have them join our Celebree School family,” said Richard Huffman, founder and CEO of Celebree School. “As we continue to expand our brand’s footprint through franchising, it’s more important than ever that we partner with local community leaders who have a passion for early childhood education.”

The curriculum prepares children for kindergarten and private, charter and neighborhood schools. Programs are available for ages six weeks to 5 years.

Celebree plans to open 30 schools in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, with four schools in development in Dallas, Plano, Frisco, and Rockwall.
