Dallas police charged a man with capital murder in connection with a homicide investigation from Saturday, March 30, near Forest Lane.
At around 3:55 a.m. on Saturday, March 30, Dallas police responded to a homicide call in the 9500 block of Forest Lane. Upon arrival, they found 78-year-old Mohammad Taghi Farshi shot and dead in the parking lot of a convenience store.
On April 1, Dallas police charged 19-year-old Maurice Parker with capital murder. According to police, Parker was already in the Dallas County Jail on an unrelated charge.
The investigation is still ongoing has been classified as a homicide.
