Easter is a hop around the corner and this year and several neighborhood favorites offer options for celebrating with a perfect spread.

This year, Easter falls on a Sunday in March. Here are a few places to celebrate the day, munch on a good brunch and bring some good eats home.

Norma’s Cafe provides a kitchen hassle-free Easter dinner catering service, offering a spread that feeds 6-8 people, including black forrest ham, spiral cut ham, smoked sliced turkey breast, oven roasted turkey breast or prime oven roast. With other menu items such as cornbread dressing, giblet gravy, quarts of mashed potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce, rolls and apple pie. Catering options are available at all locations, including the one in NorthPark Center.

Neighbors can hop over to Bread Winners Cafe & Bakery for brunch catering options with a breakfast bakery sampler with cinnamon rolls, muffins, croissants, fruit turnovers and homemade jams. The petit quiche platter comes with choices of smoked ham, applewood smoked bacon or spinach served with a side of hashbrown potato crust. Other brunch options include smoked salmon tartine and rolled up trays. Throughout Sunday, themed cupcakes, bird nests, mini bundt cakes, chocolate-covered strawberries and various cakes are available.

José will host a special Mexican Easter Brunch Buffet on Sunday, dishing out Chilaquiles verdes con pollo, huevos rancheros, papa con chorizo, scrambled eggs, bacon, refried beans, an assortment of Colibrí Panadería pan dulce and fresh fruit. The restaurant’s regular brunch menu will also be available along with a Boat Bar featuring brunch cocktails like micheladas, mimosas and Bloody Marys. The Easter Brunch Buffet will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and costs $40 per person.
